Sabrina Sumsion has spent the last several years focused on garnering publicity for a wide variety of authors from self-published to a Harper Collins best seller. She also has been educating authors about the publishing industry in general from publishing choices to creating Publicity 101: A Beginner’s Guide to Getting Attention
effective platforms.
In Publicity 101, you will learn what publicity is, what a publicist does, the different types of publicity as well as the basics of how to get it. Authors that will benefit from this class are those who want more book sales, need to expand their fan base or want to learn the basics of contacting the media.
Course Dates:
Registration begins December 15 and class begins February 1.
Two lesson postings a week with assignments and discussion.
Course Cost:
$20 for Guild members, $30 for others
($10 each registration will go to instructor and balance to Guild treasury)
